Hockey Hall of Fame

From terminal to touch, a new and improved point of sale system for Canada’s Hockey Hall of Fame

Canada’s Hockey Hall of Fame were replacing their old terminal point of sale systems with a new, touchscreen based units that required a new user focused interface to match. My goal for this project was to research, plan and design the interface from scratch.

Wireframing & Iteration

The original POS system was a terminal based windows program that required the user to use a keyboard to enter information.

As the new touch screen interface was a drastic change, I produced high fidelity wireframes and combined them with InVision to gather early user feedback.

Visual Design

Once we knew we were on the right track it was time to combine the wireframes with Microsoft’s UWP guidelines to create the final application design.
